We’ve been out and about again, this time our promotion trail has led us back home to Southport’s food and drink festival, every year hundreds of people flock to area to sample some of the best food and drink around and also visit our beautiful seaside town.We ventured out for the day on two of our best scooters, the Cordoba and the new Lyon from Roma Medical; this was all to promote our new Saturday opening times and generally get involved in the day.

The weather was good, in fact it was really nice and we managed to chat to quite a lot people along the way, I even managed to try a kangaroo burger, sorry skippy and sample some tasty treats from D'vine catering!Don't get me wrong it wasn’t all about feeding our faces and enjoying the sun, we were there to promote our Care Centre’s new opening times.

We’ve been promoting ourselves quite a bit recently by visiting some of the hotspots around the area, this week we popped along to Ormskirk’s famous Thursday market and give out a lot of information regarding www.bmsupplies.co.uk, mobility scooters and of course the North West mobility shop itself - which is now open on Saturdays.

In Ormskirk there is a small indoor market on Moorgate that is open every day except Sunday and the outdoor market is usually held on a Thursday. Ormskirk also has all the usual shops you would expect in a town of this size, It has branches of Boots, Dixons, Superdrug, WH Smith, Bon Marche, Holland and Barrett, Burton, Dorothy Perkins and Argos. It has four supermarkets- Tesco Metro, Morrison’s, Aldi and Marks and Spencer (Food Only).
