Night Time Incontinence Products

For the past couple of years I've worked selling nursing home products and care items in the North West of England, over 4 years ago the company decided to sell direct to the general public and I have to admit that I have quite enjoyed it, don't get me wrong there are moments when I question the career I have chosen but the best part of the job is being able to help out and solve problems for people who genuine need help.

Night Time Incontinence
I have had a few queries regarding night time urinary incontinence, ranging from teens with occasion problems to adult incontinence issues. The causes can stress related to health issues however there are a few products that can help in a number of ways. Its worth noting that the products I'm mentioning here are recommended by a good cross sections of our customers and finding the right product involves a bit or trail and error so don't be disillusioned if you some of these do't work for you.

  Bed pads

Disposable bed protectors are a good way to protect a mattress and act as an absorbent barrier. The best way to think of these items is as a really absorbent flat incontinence pad that sits on the bed at waist height and draws moisture in

 Traditional Incontinence pads
These are usually worn with stretch nets, people who wear incontinence pads in the day will use these items during the night however it's worth using a more absorbent pad during the night as the pad won't be changed as frequently during the night. Night pads are usually indicated b y colour however this can change between manufacturers however you can usually spot them in purple or green packaging.

 Pull ups
Some pull-ups are great for night time incontinence; I recently had a call from a father whose son was suffering particularly badly mainly through stress and he was due to sleep over at a friend's. His request was to have a product similar to incontinence pads that would be discreet and absorbent, after a bit of searching we were able to recommend a pull up from Libero. These products are tight fitting and are printed to look like normal underwear. We gave a sample of these try before hand and managed to solve the problem. These items tend to be our most popular for night time issues based on our experiences, we are always keen to here different options etc so keep in touch and let us know your experiences.
